This acne laser treatment improves the appearance of inflammatory acne by inducing photothermal effects from laser energy. Through repeated irradiation of the areas surrounding the acne lesions, the photothermal effects penetrate deep into the dermis to inhibit sebaceous gland production and Propionibacterium acne activity. This treatment is also ideal for post-acne inflammatory erythema where breakouts appear red.

Keratosis Pilaris (KP) is a common, harmless skin condition caused by a buildup of keratin — a hard protein that protects skin from harmful substances and infection. The keratin blocks the opening of hair follicles, causing patches of rough, bumpy skin, often on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks or buttocks. Laser can help reduce swelling and redness of the bumps while improving texture.
